Libreville, December 8, 2023 (AGP) – The president of the Gabonese Athletics Federation (FGA), Anaclet Taty, received, last Thursday, financial support from the National Office for the Development of Sport and Culture (ONDSC), in order to allow the national selection to better prepare for the race, we learned.
The president of the FGA, Anaclet Taty, received from the hands of the Director General of the ONDSC, Commander Loïc Ngouayit Kounda, this financial assistance from the supervisory authority to enable the Gabonese internationals to step up their preparation a few days before the start of hostilities.
“I express my recognition and gratitude to the Minister of Sports, via the National Office for the Development of Sports and Culture, for this gesture which will allow our athletes to prepare well,” assured Anaclet Taty.
Sixteen (16) Gabonese athletes in the elite category will race alongside Kenyan, Ethiopian and Eritrean professionals. The competition is scheduled to take place on the weekend of December 16 and 17 in Libreville.
