Libreville, Thursday August 15, 2024 (Gabon News) – The Gabonese head of state was present this Thursday morning, August 15 in Toulon, the ceremony celebrating the 80th anniversary of the landing of Provence.
Several African heads of state attended a ceremony dedicated to the landing on Provence, a military campaign carried out during the Second World War from 15 August 1944 by allied troops in the South East of France (between Toulon and Cannes ) until the Nazis.
Among these distinguished guests of the French President Emmanuel Macron, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, the president of the Gabonese movement that has made the duty of memory a hobby horse.
