Libreville, Wednesday October 11, 2023 (Infos Gabon) – The facilitator of the Economic Community of Central African States had numerous working sessions yesterday with the leaders of the Transition during his visit to Libreville.
It was a marathon day yesterday for the Central African president and designated mediator of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) for Gabon. Apart from the tête-à-tête he had with the President of the Republic, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, Faustin Archange Touadéra also spoke with other officials of the Transition in Gabon. The various working sessions aimed to assess the progress of the transition since the advent on August 30 of the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions (CTRI).
It emerges from the various discussions that the leaders in place respect the word given and that the Transition is on the right track. “The purpose of this morning’s meeting is to take stock of the progress of the operations that we have started to carry out to return to normality. During this working session, we therefore explained what we have already done so far, and what we still have to do,” underlined the Prime Minister, head of government, Raymond Ndong Sima. The ECCAS envoy also had discussions with the President of the Senate, Paulette Missambo.
