Joannick Ngomo Obiang, Director General of the National Office for the Development of Sport and Culture (ONDSC) proceeded, on Thursday, September 21, 2023, to the inauguration of a sports platform in Franceville.
The Director General of the ONDSC received a multi-sports area last Thursday. Indeed, this sports platform is a leisure space which will allow young people to flourish by practicing several sporting activities in a healthy way. It is a reinforced concrete structure covering an area of almost 1000m², located at the Place des Fêtes in Franceville.
According to the ONDSC, several sporting activities will be practiced there. Including football, handball, basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton and even field hockey. The space will include a street-workout area. Bodybuilding enthusiasts will not be left aside.
Note that the towns of Oyem and Akanda have also been provided with a sports area of this type.
