Libreville, Monday December 25, 2023 (Infos Gabon) – This envelope will be devoted primarily to major road projects.
The Gabonese government plans to carry out major works during the 2024 budget year. An amount of 159.78 billion F has been earmarked for this purpose and will make it possible to complete the Oyem-Medzeng axis. A sum of 30.9 billion F is planned for its implementation. 24 billion F will be devoted to the construction of two fly-overs and four pedestrian bridges at the new Ebel-Abanga bridge. As part of the continuation of the work on the Transgabonaise, 8.3 billion F are planned. While 10 billion F are intended for the reinforcement of concrete bridges throughout Gabonese territory.
As for the Ovan-Makokou route, an allocation of 6.5 billion F has been allocated. 3 billion F will be injected into the construction of the Moanda-Bakoumba axis. The Forasol-Mbega road will be financed to the tune of 5.5 billion F. A vast development program for Libreville and its surroundings will benefit from 12 billion F. The development of the Sibang-Bambouchine axis will benefit from an allocation of 10 billion F. The roads of the eight other regions which are part of the government’s priorities will benefit from 36.5 billion F.
