On the occasion of the G7 summit in Elmau, Bavaria, climate protection groups blocked the entrance to the Federal Ministry of Finance in Berlin. Dozens of activists have gathered in front of and behind the building since morning. According to the police, some of them stuck to the facade. In addition, the ministry had been smeared with paint. According to a statement, the protesters are demanding debt relief for countries in the Global South.
