G7 members called on Middle Eastern countries to stop escalation

The US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, discussed urgent measures to de-escalate the situation in the Middle East with the foreign ministers of the G7 countries.

ISAccording to information received from AZERTAC, the heads of the foreign policy department discussed efforts to achieve a ceasefire that would ensure the release of hostages and the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. They said that a ceasefire in Gaza would bring more peace and stability in the region, including on the Blue Line (the demarcation line that separates Lebanon from Israel and the Golan Heights). The G7 countries reaffirmed their commitment to Israel’s security and asked the parties to stop the conflict as much as possible.
