G.Skill will show several new and upcoming memory modules during the Computex. For example, gold and silver Trident Z5 DDR5 sticks will be released and the brand is already demonstrating modules with very high bandwidths of up to 8800 mega transfers per second.
A variety of Trident Z5 DDR5 memory modules with distinct designs will be on display at the show. For example, G.Skill shows so-called Royal versions of the Z5 RGB series, including versions with a gold or silver glittering housing, in some cases with extra ornaments on it. The brand does not yet share concrete release dates or prices of the new ram.
In addition, G.Skill demonstrates several high-performance DDR5 memory modules in extreme situations. For a DDR5-8800 set with cas latencies of 40-52-52-140, a PC with an Intel i9 13900K and an ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Apex motherboard was used, presumably in combination with two already announced 24GB memory chips from Micron .
The maximum speed on an AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPU was 6400MT/s. The highest capacity that G.Skill presented was a total of 384GB of ram, divided into eight memory modules of 48GB each. An ASUS Pro WS motherboard and an Intel Xeon W9-3495X server processor were used for this. For now, these overclocked and outrageous configurations are not yet expected in consumer hands.
