G-Power pushes the boundaries of the most powerful BMW in history even further, but it will pay extra for it

At the beginning of 2021, we recognized a great gem from Munich – the most powerful and fastest production car of the BMW brand, the new M5 CS. The thoroughly ornate legendary sedan with an eight-cylinder under the hood has improved accordingly, which is why it offers up to 635 hp in the top version of the CS, ie 467 kW and 750 Nm.

The brutal innovation with the M xDrive drive and eight-speed automatic transmission can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3 seconds and speed at 305 km / h. But now G-Power is taking the floor.

The renowned German fitter, who has often become famous for his brutal modifications to the BMW cars, is now coming up with a number of improvements in several packages. These differ from each other in the scope of adjustments and thus in the resulting performance:

  • GP-700 – 514 kW / 700 hp and 850 Nm
  • GP-740 – 544 kW / 740 hp and 900 Nm
  • GP-780 – 573 kW / 780 hp and 950 Nm
  • GP-820 – 602 kW / 820 hp and 1,000 Nm

The modifications are due to a new exhaust pipe, two turbochargers, additional coolers and a remapped control unit. However, G-Power will be properly paid for these interventions. While the weakest offered GP-700 package costs less than € 2,500 (~ 62,000 crowns), the top GP-820 is already worth almost € 24,000 (~ 600,000 crowns). But that’s not the end of it, because the icing on the cake are the famous versions of Hurricane:

  • Hurricane RS – 617 kW / 840 hp and 1,050 Nm

  • Hurricane RR – 661 kW / 900 hp and 1,050 Nm

In both cases, the M5 is equipped with new 21 “discs, while the RR version attracts at a maximum speed of 333 km / h. Let us recall that the BMW M5 CS alone costs at least € 180,000 (~ 4.5 million crowns), so the customer pays approximately € 300,000 (7.5 million crowns) for the Hurricane RR.
