Grigoris Gikas and Yiannis Mitsis chart a new course in the administrative affairs of Ioannina by joining forces. The cooperation was announced at a press conference on Thursday morning, about the two leaders and the director of the new scheme called “The New March” will be Grigoris Gikas, the leader of the new group and candidate for president. The head of the new group, Grigorsi Gikas, mentioned the objectives of the Chamber’s new development path and the vision of the new movement, avoiding appearing aggressive towards the outgoing Chrysostomou administration. The new group is staffed, as he said, with “people who have each proven their value through the problems they had to manage, overcoming the problems of the country and with expansion of the city of Ioannina at least”.
“With New March, we expect a Chamber that will be firmly on the side of local businesses, who need it so much. Who will be their friend in a joint effort to develop entrepreneurship in a city that is at the crossroads of developments and can succeed, as long as he seizes the opportunities. The immediate goals and applications, as he said later, are to advocate for a stable business environment with clear and fair rules, with tax incentives that create a stable business activity landscape, with a business environment without obstacles for new investment activities , with the application. a wider environment of public administration further digitized and with a reduction in the burden of unnecessary bureaucratic procedures.
For the main opponents of the upcoming elections, for the outgoing administration, he introduced what many say, that is to say, he is working on company terms, in terms of -outside any institutional logic. “They will be judged by the members of the Chamber, by the businessmen who trusted them and let them down,” he said, indirectly referring to the expulsion issue: “No one has the right, however regardless of their position, insult people and senior officials in our Chamber who are concerned about today and tomorrow, their own and their colleagues this with hits below the middle, like confirmation actions for deletes!”
