“Future Talk 2020” – Education in times of the new normal

(Bern)(PPS) The “Future Talk 2020” will take place from November 4 to 6, 2020. The three-day conference is being organized by the Worlddidac Association, headquartered in Bern, and broadcast live to an international audience. At the event, international experts will discuss the function of education in a changing society.

“Future Talk 2020” includes three main events: “STEAM 4 Education” (November 4, 2020), “Green Education” (November 5, 2020) and “Artificial Intelligence” (November 6, 2020). Well-known personalities from business, education and society discuss the role «education» plays as a fundamental and connecting element of society, economy and ecology. The focus is on current challenges such as disruption, digital transformation and the current pandemic.

As part of the “Agenda 2030”, the General Assembly of the United Nations has defined 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As part of “Future Talk 2020” we will discuss how these goals can be achieved both on a national and international level. The goals include sustainable development and education in times of a new normal. The conference is not just a “Future TALK”, but also a “Future ACTION”.

The private sector forum takes place in cooperation with UN agencies (UNESCO-UIL, UNESCO-UNEVOC, UNIDO) and under the auspices of the Swiss Confederation. The embassies of Canada, South Korea and Finland as well as the city of Bern act as hosts.

Future Talk 2020 invites those interested in education, business representatives, research organizations, ministries and government representatives to take part in the event.

Artificial Intelligence – Friday, November 6, 2020, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. CET
How do we reconcile the challenges of the new normal with the 4th industrial revolution?
