What happened to the market during the week?
In the first week of October the “S&P 500” rating showed an increase, but closed the second week with a drop of -1.77%. Many experts believe that we are now seeing a “rally” effect. During this period, the financial results of the companies will provide a positive signal for stock purchases and price growth, but the continuation of the inflation control policy of the FRS will have a negative impact on prices. As the quarterly reference period is drawing to a close, but the FRS continues to raise rates for a much longer period, after the short-term gains of the S&P 500 rating, we will see a decline again. But it will happen in November, while positive trends are still visible in October.
Baltic on the stock market, what was observed above continues, ie there are small short-term rises, but in general the downward trend continues. There are still no positive improvements, because at least four or five months of unknowns are missing, because it is not yet clear what will be the amounts that will have to be paid for heating, electricity and, consequently, also for services.
Cryptocurrencies continue to follow general market trends. As a result, prices are also effectively frozen – every week, for example, “Bitcoin“, we can observe a slight increase in value and then an equally rapid decrease, but in general the prices are around 19 – 20 thousand.
Portfolio changes
The common situation with Kuzikov shares is as follows:

- The total return of the joint portfolio is now -418 euros (-28 euros).
During the week all shares showed a decline in value, the record holders were “JPMORGAN Chase & CO” (JPM) with + 0.33% and “MC DONALD’S-CORP” (MCD) with + 0.23% . The biggest drop in value was recorded by “MOSAIC CO / THE” (MOS) with -0.38% and “Nextera Power“(NEE) of -0.36%. The shares of this company in my portfolio are down for the second consecutive week.

“As expected, I increased the share of the ETF, only I made a mistake and had to buy BRK B shares instead of BATT. However, the task of increasing this segment has been fulfilled,” says Kuzikov.
“I have heard from many media and experts that now the market is in a very difficult situation and the decline in the shares will continue. This still does not scare me, because if in a” bad period “my losses do not exceed 10% at the moment, but the “S&P 500” rating dropped 25% at the beginning, so my strategy is correct. I intend to invest the next 50 euros this time in energy and specifically in “Nextera Energy” (NEE). There are several reasons for this choice. First, energy is for me the least invested at the moment compared to all segments. Second, in this segment NEE occupies 40%, but I want to increase it to 50% and third, my average purchase price it is now 10% above the market price. This purchase will also positively affect this creator, “says the investor.
