Futuna hospital sets up its covid sorting system

The Kaleveleve hospital in Futuna has set up its covid sorting system, screenings have been underway since the start of the week. Over the last 3 days, 159 tests have been carried out.

The first positive case for Futuna covid was detected on Sunday March 07, 2021. Since then, 256 tests including 123 PCR and 133 antigenic tests have been carried out at Kaleveleve hospital. As a reminder, Futuna now has 4 proven cases of covid, the first 2 cases have evaporated in Wallis, the other 2 are isolated at home. A fifth case was detected this Friday, March 12 but is waiting to be counted by the COMIS.
