The Planeta Prize is one of the most important Spanish literature prizes, with an amount of no less than 1 million euros.
“The cool thing is that Carmen Mola is one of the best-known and most popular crime writers of the last four years,” says correspondent in Spain Sven Tuytens. “She sells hundreds of thousands of books. They have been translated into 11 languages and rights have even been sold to TV stations.”
