sport">A man walked onto the field and chained himself to one of the goal posts. Remarkable: it would be the same man who arrived on the last straight line of the Tour of Flanders two weeks ago while the final sprint was in full swing.
sport">The man was wearing a T-shirt that read ‘no football on a dead planet’ and ‘our children will not die from the climate crisis’ (both in English). He chained himself to the goal in which Anderlecht keeper Hendrik Van Crombrugge was standing at the time. The match did not have to be stopped for long, because the man could soon be ‘liberated’ and removed by the stewards present.

sport">Remarkably enough, it would therefore be the same man who came into view fifteen days ago during the final kilometer of the Tour of Flanders. When the sprinting leading group with eventual winner Mathieu van der Poel had passed, the man climbed over the fence and walked towards the finish line himself. Then he wore a T-shirt with the inscription climate justice now.
