Fury will attend the evening of the “Golden Contract” fight in Riga

The British heavyweight star will also attend the Golden Contract fight evening in Riga on Saturday Tyson Fury, the representative of “LNK Boxing” Jūlija Pehota confirmed to LETA.

Of course, Fury has come to support his cousin Hozy Burton, who will meet with Latvian Richard Bolotnik in the semi-finals of the boxing tournament “Golden Contract” organized by “MTK Global”.

The fight evening in the club “Studio 69” will start at 19. Tickets for the event are not sold in person, but it is possible to purchase a live broadcast of the event online.

Burton’s cousin, Fury, currently owns two heavyweight world champion belts in the World Boxing Council (WBC) and The Ring magazine versions.

Bolotnik and Burton’s strength will be the central duel of the evening after seven “undercard” fights.

Four boxers – Bolotnik, Burton, Laim Conroy and Serge Michael – were split into a semi-final pair draw, and British Burton was drawn to Bolotnik.

The second semi-final will take place on September 30 in the York Hall in London before the finals in the light and second light weights.

It has already been reported that in mid-December, Bolotnik won the World Boxing Organization (WBO) European Championship in the heavyweight category. In the first round, the Latvian boxer defeated the Northern Irishman Steven Vord.

During his career, 30-year-old Bolotnik won 16 of 22 fights, seven of which ended in a slaughter. Meanwhile, 32-year-old Burton has won 25 of 26 fights, succeeding with a slaughter in 11 duels.

Francis Rozentāls, Kristaps Bulmeistars, Artūrs Ahmetovs, Mārcis Grundulis and Artūrs Gorlovs will take part in the ring today in other battles from Latvian boxers.
