Furtwangen: Serious traffic accident in oncoming traffic near Furtwangen – two people with rescue helicopter in the clinic

There was a serious traffic accident today
Sunday afternoon around 5:07 p.m., on the B500, Bregstrasse in der
Serpentine. A 23-year-old driver drove his Honda Civic up the B500 / Bregstrasse. At the same time, a BMW X3 car drove into
downhill in the opposite direction. Presumably as a result of an unsuitable speed, the Honda handlebars came into the opposite lane in a right turn, leading to a head-on collision with the BMW car.

The Honda was occupied by two people. The 19-year-old passenger had to be rescued by the voluntary fire brigade. Both were flown to a clinic in a rescue helicopter. There were three people in the BMW at the time of the accident. The 54-year-old car driver and the passengers were only slightly injured.

Both vehicles suffered an economic total loss. This one will
totaled around 25-30,000 euros. In addition, the B500 had to be completely closed to traffic during the accident recording. The measure lasted until 9:15 p.m.
