Flexibility in higher grades in YELLOW level, return to GREEN level from an incidence value of 50
The Ministry of Education further specified the stipulations made on Friday, November 27, 2020 for the Thuringian schools and kindergartens following the resolutions of the Prime Ministers of the federal states.
- Schools are now generally given additional flexibility in the secondary grades from level 7 onwards in the YELLOW level in order to be able to better secure specialist teaching with increased infection protection measures. As an alternative to the principle of the fixed group, you can now also introduce the minimum distance in the classes or implement combination models of both measures.
- Special schools / centers are treated like kindergartens and grades 1 to 6 in general schools.
- Schools and kindergartens in regions in which the 7-day incidence number per 100,000 inhabitants falls below the threshold of 50 can now return to regular operations with preventive infection protection (GREEN level). The regulations should apply until the end of the first half of the school year. The corresponding orders and orders will be put into effect in good time and sent to the schools.
The following table shows the regulations that apply from December 1, 2020 until the end of the school year:
