Further Bomb Alerts Reported in Sofia Schools

New bomb alerts have been received in several metropolitan schools, confirmed for NOVA by the Security and Defense Ministry. One of the educational institutions is the 22nd Secondary School “Georgi S. Rakovski”. The information about the bomb threat there was received at 06.00. According to the police, there were no students in the building. The police presence in the area has been increased.

However, the director of the school, Elena Karpacheva, told NOVA that 30 students were evacuated around 06:30. The educational institution will remain closed for 24 hours, which will not affect the educational process, she explained.

We remind you that on Monday, false alarms about bombs in schools put the services in our country on their feet. Hundreds of students in Sofia, Varna and Burgas were evacuated because of threatening emails.
