Vitiligo is a condition in which the pigment cells disappear from the skin and hair. This causes milky white spots on the body. In the Netherlands about 240,000 people have vitiligo and one of these people is Mo-Yccia, 20. The condition of her skin played an important role in her life. Today, together with University of Leiden scientific researcher and lecturer Sylvia van Beugen, we will discuss how living with a skin condition can impact your mental health and how to best cope with it.
