Interestingly, from a total of six yellow cards given to Persib, one of them was obtained by their head coach Robert Rene Alberts.
The Dutch coach considered the yellow card he received as a “joke”. Alberts admitted that he always laughs when he remembers the incident.
Because Alberts got a yellow card when he was sitting while watching the game on the player bench.
There were no loud protests or tendentious things that Alberts did at that time.
As for the yellow card to the coach, the referee is generally given if the person concerned makes a strong protest.
“I still laugh about it. As we all know the referee’s performance today was not the best,” said Alberts after the match against Persija.
Alberts also explained the chronology of the yellow cards he received. According to him, before the yellow card was given, there was one person who shouted commenting on the referee in Indonesian.
