The management of the Funk Group will be expanded to eight people at the turn of the year. Move in early January 2021 Ralf Becker, Anja Funk-Münchmeyer, Hendrik F. Löffler and Bernhard Schwanke into the leadership ranks.
Anja Funk-Münchmeyer and Bernhard Schwanke come from the partner families and have been active as partners for many years. Ralf Becker and Hendrik Löffler are added to the small group of radio partners on this train. The four-person team complements the previous management of Thomas abel (63), Christoph Bülk (55), Yorck Hillegaart (64) and Claudio Jochheim (63).

Becker is an insurance salesman and holds a degree in business administration. In 1996 he started as an assistant to the management team at Funk, and in 2002 he took over the management of the Düsseldorf branch. In 2015 Ralf Becker was appointed to the management of the Funk Group, and since 2018 he has been Managing Director of Funk Versicherungsmakler GmbH. In his new position as managing partner, he will be responsible for the specialist areas of property insurance, technical insurance, transport, multi-line, liability, accident, professional risks and credit as well as insurance relationships.
Funk-Münchmeyer is a fully qualified lawyer and is a 5th generation shareholder in the founding family of Funk. She joined the company in 1998, worked as an in-house lawyer and in customer service and acquisition. In 2012 she took over the management of corporate communications. In 2016 she became a member of the Funk Group management team. As managing partner, she will in future be responsible for corporate communication, digital and organizational development as well as the radio innovation network.
Löffler holds a degree in business administration. Before moving to Funk in Hamburg in 2002, he worked for an Anglo-American insurance brokerage company in southern Germany. As head of risk management consulting at Funk, he expanded this area into an important business area for Funk and in 2008 took over the management of Funk Risk Consulting. In 2017, Hendrik F. Löffler was appointed to the management of the Funk Group. As managing partner, he will be responsible for risk consulting, business development and international business.
Schwanke is a fully qualified lawyer and began his radio career in 2005 as an assistant to the management. Among other things, he worked in sales and customer service. The 5th generation shareholder has been managing director of Funk Hospital-Versicherungsmakler GmbH since 2013. In 2016 he was appointed to the management of the Funk Group and in 2018 to the management of Funk Versicherungsmakler GmbH. In future, as managing partner, he will be responsible for sales management and planning for the industrial customer business and the healthcare segment.
