Krzysztof A., whom investigators suspect of committing a suicidal homicide in Chodzież, will rest in a separate grave and will be buried by his father’s brother, according to the unofficial findings of “Fact”. Before it turned out that Krzysztof was the perpetrator of the crime, the family wanted him to rest with his wife and child.
On Monday, April 24, bodies of five people were discovered in Chodzież (Wielkopolskie Voivodeship, Chodzież district). A suicidal homicide took place in one of the single-family houses. 41-year-old Krzysztof A. was to murder his parents, wife and son, and then take his own life.

37-year-old Marta A. was lying on the ground floor of the house with her legs tied and her mouth sealed. Her husband, Krzysztof, was lying next to her. Near the man was a knife, which turned out to be the murder weapon. On the first floor lay the restrained parents of the man who were to die first. In one of the rooms, Krzysztof A.’s son, four-month-old Staś, was lying. The investigators had no doubt that it was Krzysztof A. who killed his family. “We have no reason to believe that anyone from the outside is involved. We are dealing with a quadruple homicide and suicide of the perpetrator – said prosecutor Łukasz Wawrzyniak, quoted by “Fakt”.
According to arrangements “Fact” the family made a decision regarding the funerals of the victims of the gruesome crime in Chodzież. The woman and the child are to rest in their hometown of Sochaczew. The parents of 41-year-old Krzysztof A., Bogdan and Krystyna, are to rest at the cemetery in their hometown. The journal also unofficially established that Krzysztof A., will be buried separately by his father’s brother.

The parents of the 41-year-old settled in Chodzież right after the wedding, and Krzysztof was their only son. The man studied at the Agricultural Academy, later he left for England. “His father thought he was going to be a director right away, he had big ambitions. He was a bit disappointed – said Mrs. Melania A., Krzysztof A.’s aunt in an interview with “Fact”. A few months ago, he moved to Chodzież with his wife and child. – He came to help his mother take care of his dying father. We expected Bogdan to die in three days or three weeks. When the police came to us at night, I immediately said that Bogdan was dead, and they told me that not only him, but the whole family – commented Mrs. Melania.
Stanisław and his wife Melania emphasized in an interview with “Fact” that the 41-year-old was not an aggressive man. Ms. Melania mentioned that the parents had a good relationship with their son. – Krystyna was a real babysitter, a very family woman. Krzysztof had a very good relationship with his mother. He stayed at home with Marta because he probably wanted to stay with his dad. Maybe it was all beyond Krzysztof’s strength? the woman wondered. – I cannot imagine that Krzysztof could kill his dying father. I don’t understand why he did it. He was a calm, elegant man, there was no aggression in him the woman added. – It seems to me that he must have murdered them all on Thursday, when they were last seen, because later no one had contact with them – added Mr Stanisław, brother of Krzysztof A’s father – Nothing heralded this tragedy. We visited them with gifts. It was Krystyna’s name day, so we bought an orchid, a gift for the baby. Everything was normal, we drank tea, ate cake… I wonder what happened to Krzysztof Ms Melanie said.
