Dr. Ashraf Zaki, head of the Actors Syndicate, artist Basma, artist Manal Salama, and producer Safi El-Din Mahmoud were keen to attend the funeral of the artist’s mother. Salwa Muhammad AliShe passed away yesterday, at Al Nour Mosque in Abbasiya, alongside a number of friends and relatives.
Producer Safi El-Din Mahmoud had announced on Facebook the death of the mother of the artist, Salwa Muhammad Ali, and commented: “We belong to God and to Him we shall return. The mother of the friend Salwa Muhammad Ali has passed away, to the mercy of God. The funeral prayer is Wednesday after the noon prayer at Al-Nour Mosque in Abbasiya. I will not see you.” God is hated by those dear to you.”
The artist Salwa Mohamed Ali recently said, during a symposium honoring the star Elham Shaheen, within the activities of the 39th session of the Alexandria International Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries: “The most important thing that distinguishes Elham is diversity. She is very brave, to the point of clashing. I remember her play directed by Saad Ardash and starring… Nour Al-Sherif “Caligula” and this play belonged to the theater of cruelty. It requires a specific type of acting, which only a woman who has studied the types of theater can do. It was beautiful and we saw in it cruelty, torment, crime and corruption.
Salwa Muhammad Ali continued: “As for her last role in the series “Alfredo,” she presented the inspiration for Alzheimer’s as it should be. It is easy for the actor to put an expression on his face, but it is more difficult to “give his face expression, experience, and age.” This happened in many scenes and transitions between… Concentration and disorientation, and this role was played by international actors, the last of whom won an Oscar, and Elham was able to present it wonderfully.”
