Members of the family of the artist Ahmed Helmy and dozens of residents of the city of Banha in Qalyubia flocked to Nasser Mosque to perform funeral prayers over the body of the late Khaled Helmy, Director General of the Central Auditing Organization, and the brother of the artist Ahmed Helmy, then his funeral to his final resting place in the family cemetery in the Shamoot area in Benha.
Signs of great sadness appeared on the artist, Ahmed Helmy, while he was next to his brother’s body inside the mosque, and the family was dressed in black in grief for the deceased.
On Friday morning, the family of the artist Ahmed Helmy announced the death of his older brother Khaled Helmy, Director General of the Central Auditing Organization.
The family clarified the time and place of the funeral prayer, as they stated that the body will be held in Banha from the Nasser Mosque in the villas, following Friday prayers, and that the funeral will be held at Abdel Moneim Riad’s hostess in Al-Manshiya in the city of Banha today. The family will also hold a funeral at the Police Mosque in the gathering tomorrow.
