Last week it became more than clear how powerless man is against nature. The flood and the associated destruction, which hit North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate in particular, is the worst natural disaster in German post-war history. More than 160 people were killed in the floods, and countless others lost all their belongings. The Lochmann family and the entire team of the Traumpalast cinemas want to help people in these difficult times and have therefore considered a special campaign: For every charity menu sold (a large bag of popcorn or a portion of nachos with two dips + 1l soft drink) The Traumpalast cinemas donate 2 euros to “Aktion Deutschland hilft” until July 25th.
“We can’t change the wind, but we can set the right sails. And that’s what we want to do, ”says Marius Lochmann. “We hope that as many of our guests as possible will buy the charity menu and that we can help the people who have lost everything at least a little in this emergency.”
