Sharjah > The ruler of Sharjah said that the funding of clubs that do not give opportunities to Emirati players will be cut. Sultanbin Muhammad Al Qasimi informed. He added that action will be taken against clubs that do not promote Emiratis by the end of this month. The government spends 50 million dirhams on clubs. Clubs have asked for this to be raised. The UAE team has not been able to make good progress in many recent tournaments. Shaikh’s remarks regarding the Emiratis are part of the decision to strengthen the football sport.
