Funding from the federal government, the state and other stakeholders supports companies in digitization projects, in the implementation of energy-saving measures in their operations and in many other investments that might otherwise not be financially viable.
The range of currently available funding is wide. It ranges from financial support for the purchase of wall boxes to the “Regional Economic Development Program (RWP NRW)”. The latter supports companies with investments in movable assets as well as with construction work and other projects. The program starts with a minimum investment amount of 150,000 euros and offers enormous relief potential for small and medium-sized companies with funding rates of up to 20% (in individual cases even more).
Since very few entrepreneurs have the time to keep up to date with all available funding options, Armin Möller from the Economic Development Agency for the Viersen District (WFG) supports them together with the economic development agencies in the cities and municipalities.
“We invite all entrepreneurs from the municipality of Niederkrüchten to get a free, non-binding overview of the funding programs currently available,” say Möller and Niederkrüchten’s economic development officer Frank Grusen, who are now looking forward to the second edition of “Funding on the Move”. The event will take place on September 3rd from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Elbau Jansen GmbH & Co. KG on Sohlweg 75 in the Dam business park. Visitors will receive a non-binding initial consultation, regardless of whether they want to find out more about possible funding in general or are looking for support for a specific project. Registration is not required. “Many thanks in advance to Elbau for allowing us to host them in their premises in Dam. We look forward to as many visitors from Niederkrüchten as possible and to being able to offer the companies in the municipality support in challenging times,” say Möller and Grusen.
