KOMPAS.com – Binoculars or telescopes are tools to see objects that are far away so that they appear closer and clearer.
Generally, binoculars consist of two positive lenses. One lens leads to the object or called the object lens and the ocular lens that leads to the eye.
Judging from its function, one type of binoculars is a star telescope. Quoted from the book Health Physics (2021) by Dr. Nana, binoculars star is binoculars whose function is only used to see celestial objects, such as stars, planets, and satellites.

Refractive binoculars consist of two convex lenses, namely the objective lens and the eyepiece. The light that enters the binoculars is refracted by the lens.
The object being observed is located at infinity, so the image formed by the objective lens is exactly at its focal point.

Reflecting binoculars are binoculars in which the light in the binoculars travels by reflecting. The incoming light is collected by a large curved mirror.
The light is then reflected into the observer’s eye by one or more smaller mirrors.
