Nawelle Bouaouiche, head of the Mûrier center, and her colleague Tiffany Meinhard, head of the Henri-Barbusse leisure center, surrounded by a dozen animators, had prepared a day on Friday particularly rich in activities for young Martinérois.
A sunny day that marked the end of this week of leisure and the July cycle for children from the small section of 3 to 13 years old.
This year, the City has decided to set up, as a new feature, free childcare times of 30 minutes in the morning and evening at the Mûrier leisure reception bus stops located at the Barbusse and Langevin nursery schools, offered to each holiday period, which allows parents much more flexibility to accompany and pick up their children (Paul-Bert and Édouard-Vaillant rulings removed).
As it had rained early in the morning, the inflatable games that were planned could not be installed… But never mind, the animators have a lot of resources.
Table tennis, chess, slides…
This Friday for their last day at Mûrier, the children wanted to take full advantage of the activities they could choose from, such as the table tennis tournament organized in one of the rooms of the leisure center or chess games.
Outside, the large five-seater swing was taken by storm, girls and boys, competing to take off as high as possible under the watchful eye of the animators, attentive to maximum safety.
Further on, the stuntmen climbed the great mast of ropes of an imaginary ship, to reach the top, a competition of speed and agility like Captain Jack Sparrow…
But the highlight of this crazy afternoon was the improvised slide mat, installed by the animators, on a sloping grass area on Mûrier hill! Soap and water and you’re done, in a bathing suit and off you go for an hour of refreshing slides under the July sun, upside down or doing tricks of all kinds, a real moment of pleasure and happiness…
During the month of August, the three leisure centers operate. Information on the site: www.saintmartindheres.fr/smh_sitep
