Jakarta –
Viral videos showing child abuse go viral on social media. The author’s name is Rajen Indrajana Sofiandi, a former OVO official.
In the aftermath of the viral video, the author provided an explanation. According to him this case is already handled by the police.
“Actually this matter has been handled by the police and I have met with the police,” he said when contacted by detikcom on Tuesday (20/12/2022).
According to him, the video alone is not sufficient proof. He said the video showed a father who was busy getting reports because his son was playing video games while school was online.
“The video alone is not enough evidence because in reality the video is more of a father who is busy getting reports from the mother who actually provokes him to scold his children because their children are playing when school is online,” has explained.
Rajen said that after the viral video was made, his son continued to go to school and there were no problems.
Rajen claimed that the video of him scolding his children was blamed by their mother to blackmail him into the divorce. For now, he said his children’s conditions were fine and he still drove them to school.
“The children are all doing well, in fact I still take them to school until I finally decide to leave the house. I still meet their monthly needs of over 50 million rupees a month. But for the mother it is never enough.” he said.
The video was made last year when the school was still online. He said the mother of his children didn’t accept him because he was divorced.
“Their mother didn’t agree to a divorce with me, the apartment in the house, 2 cars were controlled by her but she was never satisfied,” she said.
He said he was not guilty in the case of his position. Rajen and his solicitor intend to sue for defamation under the ITE Act and a car theft case.
“Because according to the case my position has not been proven guilty. My solicitor intends to sue defamation under the ITE Act and misappropriation of one of my cars because the person was in hiding even though it was bought after the divorce” , he said.
He admits he has been separated from his home since September. After leaving the house the puppies were in good condition.
Rajen said he still pays for his children’s education, including food, shelter, laundry, vehicles and more.
