As the strongest cold wave hit for the second day this winter, the whole of Jeju Island was frozen.
According to Jeju Island and the Jeju Regional Meteorological Office on the 8th, as of 4 p.m. on that day, there are cold and heavy snow warnings in the mountains of Jeju Island, heavy snow warnings in the north and east of Jeju Island, and heavy snow warnings in the south and west of Jeju Island and Chuja Island, respectively.

With strong winds and storm warnings in effect on Jeju Island’s land and sea, on this day, in Jeju, the peak at the moment of 28.2m per second in Gosan (western part), 23.7m in Witsaeoreum (mountain area), 21.1m per second in Woljeong (eastern part), and 19.6m per second in Jeju (northern part).
