The Würzburg State Building Authority will completely block road traffic on the B 26 in the Binsfeld through-pass from the junction with Schultorstraße to the homestead “An der alten Kirche” from August 1st to probably September 12th due to construction work. Local public transport cannot reach the community of Binsfeld for the duration of the construction work, and service is not possible. The district office Main-Spessart informed about this in a press release.
In addition, bus line 672 between Arnstein and Karlstadt has to be diverted. Due to the construction site, there are longer driving distances and driving times; the usual connections in Karlstadt can therefore not be guaranteed. In principle, all journeys published in the timetable for line 672 (with the sign F for holidays and without a note above the respective journey) are carried out. The service will be from Karlstadt via Stetten – Thüngen (replacement stop at the brewery) to Schönarts – Hesslar (if required) – Eußenheim – Hundsbach – Halsheim (replacement stop) – Müdesheim – Reuchelheim, junction – Heugrumbach to Arnstein and analogously in the opposite direction. It should be noted that it is not possible to board this bus in the Bachgrund.
For a direct connection from Karlstadt to Arnstein, bus line 673 can be used as usual via the Bachgrund.

Construction site Rechtenbacher Strasse in Lohr
The Würzburg State Building Authority will carry out a complete closure on the B 26 in the Lohr through-road on Rechtenbacher Straße from August 8th to probably August 20th. Public transport service by the buses 652 Lohr – Neuhütten, 654 Lohr – Rechtenbach – Rothenbuch from the Lohr – Rechtenbacher Straße stop is not possible.
A construction site timetable applies for the duration of the construction work; the on-call bus service for lines 652 and 654 has been suspended. The notices at the affected stops and at the ZOB Lohr should be observed for the duration of this measure.
The Main-Spessart district office reports that the early connection of bus route 643 between Obersinn and Gemünden at 4.27 a.m. will not be maintained permanently after the end of the test phase on July 29th. During the trial run from April 25, the offer was not used sufficiently.
Price increase from August 1st in the transport association
On August 1, 2022, there will be a price increase due to the tariff adjustment in the Verkehrsverbund Mainfranken (VVM). All new media (price tables, ticket brochures, etc.) can now be found online at www.vvm-info.de
From Monday, August 1st, the holiday timetable applies to all lines; many connections to the school start and end times are not operated during the holidays.
