The A270 in Bremen has been under renovation for months, and drivers need patience – and this will continue. Now the next section is about to begin.
The A270 in Bremen-Nord remains a bottleneck. Because the Autobahn GmbH has to renew the road surface of the B74n and at the same time repair the ramps to the A270 Rönnebeck junction, a section of the road will be completely closed. The full closure will begin on Monday, August 26, and will last until the end of September, the company announced.
Specifically, the area between the Lüssum junction and Turnerstrasse will be closed. Diversions will then regulate traffic around the construction sites. In the direction of Farge, this will lead to the B74n/Turnerstrasse intersection via the permanently signposted diversion U13 (blue signs) and the U6 (yellow signs). The U13 leads via Lüssumer Strasse, Landrat-Christians-Strasse and Weserstrandstrasse to Rönnebecker Strasse (B74). The U6, on the other hand, continues via Rönnebecker Strasse and Dillener Strasse to Turnerstrasse, the Autobahn GmbH further announced.
There is also a diversion for traffic from the closed Rönnebeck junction in the direction of Farge via the U6 (yellow signs) to the B74n/Turnerstraße junction. This leads via Kreinsloger, Rönnebecker Straße and Dillener Straße. In the north, i.e. to the A270/A27, traffic from the B74n/Turnerstraße junction is diverted via the U4 diversion (yellow signs). This runs via Turnerstraße, Dillener Straße, Rönnebecker Straße, Weserstrandstraße and Landrat-Christians-Straße to Blumenthal station. From there, road users can either take Lüssumer Straße to the Lüssum junction or continue on Landrat-Christians-Straße and Wohldstraße to the Blumenthal junction.
There is also a permanently signposted diversion U2 (blue signs) for traffic from the closed Rönnebeck junction in the direction of A270/A27. This leads via Kreinsloger and Lüssumer Straße to the Lüssum junction.
The Autobahn GmbH also pointed out that there may be delays due to the weather. However, completion is planned for the end of September.
