The initiative Full Cases 2023 in favor of Cáritas to collect donations for the purchase of school supplies aimed at children and adolescents in vulnerable situations began on August 4, and will continue until 16 of September. The initiative is promoted by three brotherhoods and brotherhoods, El Corte Inglés and Cáritas.
With the motto Childhood and adolescence matter, the initiative encourages the collection of donations so that families from the different projects and centers chosen by Cáritas can acquire the school supplies necessary for the start of the course. In this way, equal opportunities are promoted in the educational system.
In each El Corte Inglés center, there will be a brotherhood or brotherhood that will be in charge, together with Cáritas, of providing volunteering – in the first two weeks of September – to make clients aware of the different projects in each of them. the cities.
In Oviedo, the Brotherhood of Jesus Captive and the school supplies collected with the donations provided will go to the Alba Project of Cáritas, which distributes the material between the different centers of the city. In Gijón it will be Brotherhood Brotherhood of Mercy and the school supplies will be allocated to Llugarín Day Center
In Avilés there will be Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus of Hope and the school supplies will be destined for Colors Day Center
The departments in which customers can make their donations are: back to school, stationery, and the Hipercor checkout line in Avilés and Oviedo, as well as the Supermarket checkout line on Uría Street (Oviedo) and Gijón.
How to participate in the campaign

Once all the donations have been collected, the families who are being accompanied by Cáritas will be given a card, with which they can proceed to purchase school supplies. This year, El Corte Inglés contributes 10% of the total collection to each of the projects.
