Arsenal continued its decline in results, and suffered its second consecutive defeat in the English Football League Championship, as it lost to its host Fulham 1-2, today, Sunday, in the 20th round of the competition.
Arsenal, which lost in the last round to West Ham, froze at 40 points in fourth place, two points behind Liverpool and Aston Villa, who occupy first and second places respectively, knowing that Liverpool will face Newcastle tomorrow, Monday.
On the other hand, Fulham succeeded in ending the series of negative results, raising its score to 24 points in thirteenth place.
Arsenal took the lead in the fifth minute through Bukayo Saka, before Fulham equalized through Raul Jimenez in the 28th minute.
In the 58th minute, Decorva Bobby Reid scored the second goal for Fulham.
In the same round, Tottenham beat its guest Bournemouth 3-1.
Tottenham took the lead in the ninth minute through Pape Sarr, before Son Heung-min added the second goal in the 71st minute.
In the 80th minute, Richarlison scored the third goal for Tottenham, while Alex Scott scored the only goal for Bournemouth in the 84th minute.
Tottenham raised its score to 39 points in fifth place, while Bournemouth’s score froze at 25 points in twelfth place.
