Christian Eriksen scored his first goal for Manchester United in the 14th minute and became the first Dane to score for the “Red Devils” since September 26, 1995. That time, goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel headed a corner in the Rotor Volgograd network.
In the 59th minute Daniel James entered the match and equalized two minutes later. He scored for his former club, from where he moved to Leeds United last summer, from where he is now on loan at Fulham. Eriksen then participated in the setup by assisting young Garnach’s winning goal.
