Fulham beat Tottenham 3–0.
But the numbers could have been bigger.
Home team Fulham made it 1-0 in the 42nd minute. Rodrigo Muniz received a nice ball, received it and easily scored the first goal.
And there would be more to come. Four minutes into the second, Sasa Lukic put the second.
With the hour played, the third came, Muniz with his second. Tottenham also conceded a fourth ball but the goal was ruled out for offside.
“Losing this way”
– This will feel like a long two weeks for Postecoglou (Spurs coach). It’s one thing to lose, but it’s the way they lose today that will hurt, says Sky Sports expert Alan Smith.
Heavy for Dejan Kulusevski’s Tottenham, who had a chance to overtake fourth-placed Aston Villa. Fulham are the first team this season to keep a clean sheet against Spurs.
Now national team games await several of the players.
