Fujifilm launched the Instax Mini Evo, the latest camera model from the Instax series that carries a hybrid concept between an instant camera and a smartphone printer in one package. Instax Mini Evo allows users to take as many photos as possible, choose photos that you want to print or share, to save photos for later access.
President Director of PT. Fujifilm Indonesia Masato Yamamoto said that the Instax Mini Evo can produce good image quality thanks to the combination of film and lens effects.
“The new Instax Mini Evo can be considered the highest range of instant cameras that can produce high-quality images with various combinations of film and lens effects so users can create images the way they want. Because, we believe everyone sees the world in a different way, “said Yamamoto in his statement, Wednesday (12/8/2021).
Instax Mini Evo carries a classic design by implementing an analog camera model. Combined with silver and black synthetic leather, this instant camera has a more masculine appearance compared to the previous Instax series. This design is certainly much different from the previous Instax series which uses a more feminine color choice.
Consumer Printing Marketing Manager (Instax) Rena Ratna Sari said the design of the Instax Mini Evo wanted to show that the Instax line up was not only fun, stylish, and easy to use, but also masculine and more serious.
“With this classic shape, hopefully it can also open a new customer market. That’s the goal,” he said.

This instant camera is equipped with a Printer Lever feature that functions as a ‘cock’ for printing photos. The Instax Mini Evo is the first Instax series to use this feature. Besides Printer Lever, Instax Mini Evo is also equipped with other unique features such as Lens Dial and Film Dial.
But behind the classic analog design, the Instax Mini Evo presents excellent features in the form of 10 effect lens features and 10 effect film features that can be combined according to the user’s taste. This means, Instax Mini Evo offers a total of 100 combinations of lens and film effects that can satisfy users’ creative desires.
The 10 effect lenses owned by the Instax Mini Evo include Normal, Vignette, Soft Focus, Blur, Fisheye, Color Shift, Light Leak, Mirror, Double Exposure and Half-Frame. While the 10 film effects available include Normal, Vivid, Pale, Canvas, Monochrome, Sepia, Yellow, Red, Blue and Retro.
Instax Mini Evo can also be used as a photo printer by connecting the camera to a smartphone via a Bluetooth connection, as well as through the Instax Mini Evo application which is already available and can be downloaded on Android and iOS.
At the same time, Fujifilm also released a new instant film, namely Instax Mini Stone Gray. This new film will provide a matching stone gray motif with a vivid effect, so that it can produce old camera-style images that increasingly show the classic theme carried by the Instax Mini Evo.
The Instax Mini Evo is available in Indonesia as of December 8, 2021, and can be priced at IDR 2.9 million.
