Fuels in the Czech Republic have risen slightly since last week

Diesel has also risen in price by two pennies per liter, with drivers now giving an average of 31.60 crowns per liter. According to data from CCS, which monitors prices, petrol is now almost six crowns more expensive than a year ago; at that time, motorists paid 4.30 crowns per liter less for diesel.

The cheapest fuels are refueled by drivers in the Ústí Region, where a liter of petrol is on average CZK 33.45. They sell diesel there for an average of CZK 31.19. On the other hand, the most expensive fuels are offered by pumps in Prague, where a liter of petrol costs an average of CZK 34.34.

Diesel is refueled there for 32.29 crowns per liter. A liter of petrol is still above 34 crowns in the Central Bohemian Region and the Vysočina Region, a liter of diesel is refueled in these regions for more than 32 crowns.

Fuels in the Czech Republic have been steadily rising in price since the beginning of the year. In July, the average price of gasoline approached 34 crowns per liter and diesel cost up to 31.84 CZK per liter.

At the end of the first holiday month, however, prices fell slightly and have been rather stagnant since August.
