Toyota has equipped the Agya Type G with a 1,200 cc 3-cylinder naturally aspirated WA-VE engine, which is also used in the Raize and Rocky models. This engine delivers 86.7 HP at 6,000 RPM and 113 Nm of torque at 4,500 RPM. The Agya is available in two transmission options: CVT and manual transmission.

At an average speed of 25 km per hour, the Agya Type G achieved a fuel efficiency of 17.6 km per liter. On highway routes with an average speed of 90 km per hour, this compact car reached an impressive 21.5 km per liter.

The test was conducted using the self-test method and eco driving techniques. However, the question remained: how would this car perform with a family on board and a more dynamic driving style?

To find out, the Toyota Agya Type G was taken on a 100.1 km journey, covering 50% toll roads and 50% city routes. The car encountered several traffic jams and idle moments in parking lots.

Using the full-to-full test method, where the car was filled with fuel at the start and end of the journey, the Agya Type G only required 5.09 liters of fuel for the entire 100.1 km distance.

This means that even when carrying a family or three passengers and driven with a more dynamic style, the Agya Type G achieved an average fuel consumption rate of 19.6 km per liter. Impressive, isn’t it?
