The fuel bonus is coming, the information you need to know
The Energy Decree, issued on 25 September, also provides for a fuel bonus: let’s see who is entitled to it and when it arrives on the Social Card. SkyTG24 reported all the details on the matter.
The figure should fluctuate between 70 and 80 euros per family (it has not yet been officially communicated) and will have to be used by the end of the year to purchase fuel. The resources available have been quantified at 100 million euros and the beneficiaries are the same as the shopping card sent in recent weeks, i.e. families with an ISEE not exceeding 15 thousand euros.
But when will the money arrive? They will most likely be paid out around the end of October. Shortly before that date, a new decree will clarify how to use the discount. There is the possibility that some companies in the sector could “adhere to plans to contain the costs of the pump price”, i.e. apply discounts at the distributor for those who use the social card.
It is useful to remember that the bonus paid can also be used for means of transport, by purchasing an annual season ticket and deducting the amount that the Government will propose.
