Bad news for motorists, as of July 1, fuel prices show a nice increase.
The unleaded super will cost seven cents more, going from 1.23 euros per liter in June to 1.30 euros per liter in July.
The same goes for diesel, which recorded an increase of 5 cents per liter from 1.06 euros to 1.11 euros.
The maximum price of the 12.5 kg gas cylinder also increased, going to 22.81 euros instead of 21.88 euros, an increase of 93 cents.
Following the health crisis and since the last decreases recorded at the end of April, the prices of petroleum products started a slow and steady rise in May and June. The imbalance between supply and demand is gradually reducing with voluntary production limits in OPEC countries, resumption of activity, particularly in China, and prospects of recovery in Europe linked to deconfinement measures.
