“Fuck off, China”: Foreign Minister explodes with rant on Twitter

The Philippine Foreign Minister Teddy Locsin Jr. made his anger very clear on Twitter. In a two-part article, he addressed the Chinese government directly via the short message service. “P *** off,” he let the neighboring country know.

The background for this is said to have been patrols by the Chinese coast guard near the Scarborough reef, part of the South China Sea, which reports “GlobalNation“.

The missing “uterus” and a “big pile of rubbish”

The two nations have been fighting over this reef for years. The Philippine government criticizes China’s excessive ownership claims. The Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague also rejected these claims in 2016 – however, the judgment has not yet been recognized by the Chinese government led by ruler Xi Jinping.

Filipino ships are said to have been blocked by the Chinese coast guard. “China, my friend, how politely can I express it? Let me think about it … oh … P *** you up,” wrote the furious Foreign Minister.

But that’s not all: As a result, he compared the nation to an “ugly fool” who forced his attention on a “good-looking guy”. “He has no uterus,” says Locsin. And further: “If he were to try to give birth to a Chinese province, it would at best result in a large pile of garbage.”

Foreign minister lets criticism bounce off

Numerous users of the short message service criticized the foreign minister’s extensive rant. “Your job is to represent your nation’s interests diplomatically, not in the language of a school boy. This is embarrassing for you and your country,” it said in a comment.

The answer to this post followed promptly. “Gentle diplomatic language doesn’t do anything,” replied Locsin. In his own way, he still manages to get things done. It is not about finding a dialogue with China, but about denouncing the country before the rest of the world.
