Frustration with Allocation of Funds for Children at Risk: Advocating for Vouchers to Ensure Direct Support

Dear Volkshilfe, dear politicians, we cannot understand why there should be money for children at risk of poverty. Many parents will not spend this money on their children, but on themselves, on a new cell phone or whatever. How naive do you think the people are if you want them to believe that this additional money would benefit the children? The children themselves cannot control it, their parents can, and no one can control it either. Why in God’s name don’t you issue vouchers for the children? For school supplies, for clothing, for games, for sporting activities, etc. This is the only way the money would really reach the children!
