Frustration and Departures: Love is in the Meadow Farmers Retire Early

One of the first farmers to decide to leave the program is 30-year-old sheep breeder Baptiste. After a reconciliation with an ex-lover, he decides to retire from the TV show. The creators of the French program – that one there Love is in the meadow hot – are not happy with his departure. “While we are happy that he has found love, it is frustrating that he has taken the place of another candidate.”

Farmers David and Charles also leave the show early. They are not satisfied with the letters they received from the interested candidates. According to them, there is no one in between for them. David promises to reverse his decision if better letters come in, but that does not happen.

The French Yvon Jaspers, Karine Le Marchand, is angry at their departure. “We invest time and resources to help these farmers find love, and then they just take someone else’s place. It’s disappointing.”

The production of the program is also not happy with the developments, but remains positive: “It is unprecedented, but such is life. We still have 11 participants left for the speed dating, so the season is far from lost. We are resilient and adapt us.”
