The Progressive Party (Frp) presented its next state budget for next year on Thursday, in which it proposes to increase the personal allowance from NOK 88,250 to NOK 150,000.
It will bring lower taxes for everyone, depending on the party. For those who earn more than NOK 500,000, the party proposes a cut of NOK 9,000 a year. That means NOK 25 per day.
– It is particularly important to reduce income tax to encourage more people to go into work and earn their own income, says Frp fiscal policy spokesman, Hans Andreas Limi.
When the government presented the proposal for the state budget, the FRP came out and criticized people for giving NOK 1 in tax deductions per day.

The budget is a dream scenario if the FRP gets a majority on its own, but it also shows what issues they want to prioritize if they get government power after the election. next year.
The tax reductions of the FRP will cost NOK 27.5 billion.
– Less dependent on the state
The FRP also proposes to increase the current free card rate from NOK 70,000 to NOK 150,000. This means you can earn even more before you have to pay tax. The proposal will bring a tax break of NOK 3,600 on average compared to the government’s proposal for the state budget.
– It is an important step both to improve people’s private finances and to make people less dependent on the state, says FpU director Simen Velle about the budget proposal.

Cut taxes
The FRP also wants an end to what they describe as “skyrocketing prices for petrol and diesel”. That is why they are proposing to cut the road user fee in half. They estimate that they will reduce the pump price of petrol by NOK 2.60 per litre, and NOK 1.70 per liter of diesel.
Air passenger tax must also be completely removed if the FRP decides. It is currently NOK 85 for trips to destinations within Europe and NOK 332 for trips outside Europe.
The party also proposes to change the document tax, writing that they will ask the government to draw up a proposal to withdraw from the document tax for first-time buyers under 30 years of age.
The total Frp tax cuts will amount to NOK 15.7 billion by next year.
