Saxe Frøshaug (Sp) gets renewed confidence as mayor in Indre Østfold after getting the FRP to agree on an agreement.
The FRP scrapped the Conservative Party and instead agreed to a majority agreement with Sp, SV and Ap. The letter of intent was signed on Wednesday evening, confirms Frøshaug opposite The online newspaper.
– It is very good now that the foundation stone has been laid for further cooperation. We have a governing majority in the municipality, and we are keen to govern on a secure financial basis, says Frøshaug.
A more comprehensive agreement will now be negotiated further. Frøshaug says he believes the gang of four will find solutions together.
– All the parties have given something here to be able to find a common platform together, he says.
