Norwegian actor Frøydis Armand has died at the age of 73. The family confirmed this to Dagbladet on Tuesday evening.
Gisken Armand, Frøydis’ sister, says she fell asleep peacefully and peacefully in the night.
Armand leaves three children.

Frøydis Armand was the sister of actors Gisken and Merete Armand. The latter passed away in 2017 at the age of 61.
Frøydis Armand debuted at the National Theater in the early 1970s. His last performance at the National Theater was as Elvis in the “Faust” production. It was April 2019.
Communications manager for the National Theater, Ida Margreta Halvorsen, texted Dagbladet that Armand will be deeply missed.
“She was an imposing theater artist who moved the world in a number of significant roles, and will be deeply missed by the audience and her colleagues at the National Theater.”
On Facebook, the Nationaltheatret writes a longer post, in memory of Armand:
“It is with great sadness that we received the news of Frøydis Armand’s death. Frøydis was a skilled and versatile actor who played over 100 roles during his 48-year career at the Nationaltheatret. He loved life on stage and was an actress. famous and loved for generations of audiences. Frøydis with his deep and powerful voice will be remembered and missed by many. Our thoughts go out to Frøydis’ loved ones. “
In the years following his debut, he starred in numerous theatrical productions, as well as in numerous films and TV series. Among the most famous of her are “Hustruer”.
He also had a guest role in the comedy series “Mot i brøset” and starred in the TV series “Berlinerpoplene”. In 2009 she made her debut in “Hotel Cæsar”, in the role of Dagny Dallimore.
Armand received Gösta Ekman’s Ærespris in 1977, Per Aabel’s Ærespris in 2002 and an Aase Bye fellowship in 2007.
