Under the rapid growth, how can Beijing better utilize the role of data elements and accelerate the formation of new productive forces? Let’s take a look at the reporters’ front-line research.

Under the warm winter sun, it is becoming a trend among young people to visit the central axis of Beijing and take a city tour across time and space. Today, this 7.8-kilometer-long central axis running through the north and south of Beijing’s old city has been “revitalized” by digital technology. Not long ago, the Beijing Surveying and Mapping Design Institute, the construction unit of the Digital Central Axis, selected a portion of independently obtained spatial data and completed the country’s first spatial data admission transaction on the Beijing International Big Data Exchange. The data after the transaction is developed into interactive products, providing the public with a central axis of virtual and real integration and immersive experience, allowing traditional culture to continue to radiate new vitality.

This year, in order to give full play to the role of data elements and make the digital economy stronger, bigger and better, Beijing took the lead in releasing the local version of the “Twenty Data Measures”, piloting them in multiple key areas, and spawning a number of innovative application scenarios empowered by data. .

The high-level autonomous driving demonstration zone in Yizhuang, Beijing, has taken “small steps” from 1.0 to the 3.0 stage of construction. When we were interviewing here, we noticed that these high-tech self-driving vehicles all “wear” a “hat” on the roof. Its function is equivalent to the “eyes” of the car, which can reach 360 degrees without blind spots. Accurately judge road conditions.

By building a platform to improve the computing power of data, in Yizhuang Economic Development Zone, data is exerting various multiplier effects in different scenarios. At this new express delivery station, we see that the busy unmanned delivery vehicles have become a capacity supplement tool for couriers, and the delivery efficiency can reach 500-800 orders per day. Up to now, the demonstration zone has realized 8 major application scenarios such as unmanned retail and unmanned connections, and has provided regular travel and life services to the public for more than 2 million people.

In order to transform the resource advantages of data into new advantages that promote the development of new quality productivity. On November 10, the Beijing Data Basic System Pilot Zone was officially launched. This is also the first data basic system pilot zone in the country. Within the 68 square kilometers of the pilot zone, the barriers between data supply and demand will be further broken down, allowing data to flow truly safely and efficiently.
